Ten Plus One Thoughts on leadership

Recommended an acronym for Success

1. L is for the rice:
Leadership often requires a sense of humor. You must be willing to laugh at yourself or the situations and still continue to press forward and upward. It 's the key to self-preservation!

2. It is for example:
A good example is an important part of leadership. You need to look, act and think like a leader. If you want people to respect as a leader, give them a positive picture of itself as a leader leads.

3. A is for attitude:
A true leader maintains a positive mental attitude and not dwell on what can go wrong. Instead, the leaders set to find alternatives to improve a situation.

4. D is for desire:
To lead, you want to lead! It 's something you want to do, because it is at the heart of who you are.

5. E is for excellence:
Leadership requires that you always the best way possible. A leader is committed to excellence in the knowledge that can not always be achieved.

6. R is for the risk:
A leader knows that taking risks is necessary for leadership. They understand the adage "Nothing ventured, nothing gained."

7. S is for sharing:
A leader is open, honest and generous when sharing what they know.

8. H is for Help:
The leaders know that to see the growth within their organization, they must help others to become leaders as well. They give others the chance to take the forefront and to applaud and support the success of such persons.

9. I am for Intelligence:
An intelligent leader is one who recognizes the need for continued mental growth, adding to their knowledge. A leader undertake vocational training, but he also knows that not everything you need to know can be learned from a book. The ability to interact with people at all levels is also a characteristic of a true leader.

10. P is perseverance:
Leaders know they do not have to give the first hint of a problem or when the results are not what you expect. They "hang" and see something at the end-no matter what.

Certainly there are many other words that could define a leader or leadership. (Integrity, Planning, Loyalty all come to mind.) Is up to the individual to decide what the acronym will define his leadership style.
